This modern, superbly equipped schooner built in 1992 encapsulates every requirement for cruising with speed, excitement with safety and leisurely motor sailing under power. Or on a combination of all three. Sailing under 3.000 square feet of canvas is always exhilarating. So QUEEN OF PEACE will always appeal to the young (and the young at heart). At the same time, because of its timber gunwales, it provides a high degree of safety, particularly for young children. Constructed to the highest technical specifications, she is built from Iroko planking over laminated oak and stainless steel reinforced frames and has a deck of solid teak. The yacht has been repainted and the whole of the hull and topside are now white. Below decks every care and attention has been taken to ensure comfort and luxury. All accomodation has been completed in mahagony panelling. Aft there is a full width double bedded stateroom with wardrobe, dressing table and bookcase and en-suite marble bathroom; a dressing room/study with single berth and en-suite shower room. The cabin upholstery has been changed in spring 2003. The featured photos are correct, apart from the guest cabin. The upholstery of the deck and of the main salon have been renewed i spring 2003. Forward of the deck saloon, main saloon and dining room are two twin cabins with en-suite showers and toilets and a beautifully fitted double cabin also with en-suite shower and toilet. The spacious galley is superbly equipped for preparing finest meals. QUEEN OF PEACE will carry a crew of three/four whose accomodation is via a separate companion way.
