This sheltered marina extends down a long, thin cala, situated about 1.5km from Santa Ponsa itself. The nearby town is a busy tourist spot and offers full provisioning facilities, while within the cala itself, there is a yard offering expertise in most nautical problems, as well as a well-respected brokerage, restaurants and bars. One of the fuel pumps operates 24 hours for those who have Multicard. It was at Santa Ponsa that King Jaime I landed in 1229 to conquer Mallorca from the Moors, and a fiesta marking this event is held annually on September 9.
